Sarah Ketchley
An Egyptologist by training, I've spent the last few years working with a great team of undergraduate interns at the University of Washington. We are transcribing and beginning to mark up a number of nineteenth century travel diaries written by the intrepid companion of an early excavator in Egypt's Valley of the Kings. Our project has expanded this year to include contemporary correspondence, notebooks and other fascinating material.
